Meet Our Team

Dr Nicola Pattison

Practice Owner

Nicola and her partner Jono purchased Glenelg Veterinary Services in 2017 and have grown the clinic to now employ 3 vets. Nicola is a mum of three excitable young children and will always go out of her way to assist clients with their pets. 

Nicola has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery and completed her Masters in 2016 by writing her dissertation on Australian working dog health and disease, and is currently studying towards her veterinary memberships in surgery.

Dr Jo

Jo has recently joined the team at Glenelg Veterinary Services, and is looking forward to meeting your pets when they come in for an appointment. Jo also has many years of large animal experience. 

Karen

Head Nurse

Karen is the former owner of Glenelg Veterinary Services and is a well known local presence in the clinic. Karen has worked in the clinic for many many years and knows most of the clients (and their pets!) by name.

Karen can often be found fixing equipment (our very own Mrs Fix-It) or assisting with orthopaedic surgeries.

Vicki

Veterinary Nurse

Vicki has worked at Glenelg Veterinary Service since 2012 and has been a vet nurse for over 27 years. Vicki can often be seen greeting our clients at the front desk upon arrival into the clinic. 

Vicki is originally from Perth but has lived locally for the past 17 years. Vicki has 3 children and 4 step children and multiple cats that she has rescued over the years. 

Jess

Groomer

Jess is our fantastic groomer and is also a trainee vet nurse who has worked at the clinic for several years and is responsible for the amazing haircuts of many pets around town. 

Jess is a new mum of one.
